You are just now getting your feet wet with WordPress. In other words, you have never touched the controls of WordPress before at this level. You will learn the basics of WordPress such as logging in, editing your user profile, creating a post on your WordPress blog and how to format your text, add hyperlinks and insert images and videos.

Intermediate Level
It’s time to be promoted to the next class level! You will learn how to explore the dashboard and administration area, creating and modifying users and how to modify the settings area. This is where you will also learn how to add text and popular blog widgets to your blog. You will wrap up this class learning how to moderate and edits posts and comments created by multiple users.

Now you are in the big leagues! You will learn how to perform the one-click installation (using a supported hosting company). You will also learn how to create your own MYSQL database for your blog. Of course, you will also be introduced to the world of plugins – how to choose and install them. Lastly, you will learn where to choose the best themes, how to install and activate these themes. Once you have your favorite theme in place, I will cover how you can use the WordPress theme editor to make simple cosmetic changes to your site so it’s now customized to your liking…your business brand!
